
Why do dogs get ear infections?
Inflammation – Inflammation causes an immune response so your pet’s body will go into flight mode, this leads to a weakens their resistance which can lead to infection.
Wax buildup – Depending on the breed they could have a little amount or a lot of wax. This can cause a breeding ground cause for germs and infection.
Allergies – There are lots of causes for allergies like environment inside and outside, food and many more. Allergic responses can lead to inflammation throughout the body and the ears are a prime target as they have moisture and ear wax.
Yeast – When yeast gets into a constant warm and moist area like a wet dogs ear.
Use cotton balls to clean your dog’s ears. Wet the cotton ball and wipe around the outside of the ear to remove any dirt or wax.
